Back in 1980 we recovered data from a 1/2" reel to reel Pertec Tape Drive that was attached to a Dec PDP11. Today we routinely recover data from 4mm and 8mm tapes. We also recover data from all types of DLT drives. In addition we recover data from older tapes on a routine basis.
