Back in 1980 we recovered data from an 8" floppy disk that was attached to a CNC milling machine. Today we routinely recover data from Floppies, Tapes, Zip, Jazz and all types of CD's and DVD's. It's rare that the entire contents of the media are destroyed when a file is deleted from one of these storage systems. Many times, our engineers can reconstruct the link to deleted files in order to recover the data. If reference information has been destroyed, we can perform scans of the storage media to locate binary bits. We then use their internal file structure to piece together the lost files.

 

Floppy/Flexible Disks

ITS - Data Recovery is considered to be an expert on all types of floppy disk drives. We have knowledge of about every type of drive ever produced. We provide Data Recovery and Data Transfer Services on all 3.5" and 5.25" Floppy Diskettes. We can recover files from corrupted or physically damaged diskettes. Although we still repair 8" Floppy Disk Drives still we do not recover data from the diskettes. Diskette capacities supported include 3.5" 720k, 1.44mb and 5.25" 360k, 720k and 1.2mb. We support any version DOS, Windows or Apple Operating Systems as well as proprietary type systems such as CNC machines. We can also take your old floppies and transfer them to CD or DVD for a reasonable fee. Prices for data recovery usually run from $50.00 to $125.00 depending on the type and quantity of floppy disk. There is usually no fee if the data is not recoverable.

 

IOMEGA Zip & Jaz Cartridges

ITS - Data Recovery provides Data Recovery and Data Transfer Services on all
IOMEGA Zip and Jaz Cartridges. This includes Zip 100mb, 250mb and 750mb type media as well as Jaz 1gb and 2gb. Our Data Recovery Services include recovering data from corrupt volumes as well as recovering data from physically damaged Zip and Jaz Cartridges. We also can transfer your data from any Zip or Jaz data cartridge and transfer it to the media of your choice. We support any version DOS, Windows or Apple Operating Systems. Our prices for data recovery usually run from $95.00 to $250.00 depending on the type and quantity of removable media cartridge.

 

Tapes

 ITS - Data Recovery Specialist have been performing Tape Data Recovery for over 25 years and has recovered data from just about every type of tape media ever produced. Back in 1980 we recovered data from a 1/2" reel to reel Pertec Tape Drive that was attached to a Dec PDP11. Today we routinely recover data from 4mm and 8mm tapes. We also recover data from all types of DLT drives. In addition we recover data from older tapes like Travan TR-1, TR-2, TR-3, TR-4 and DC2120 tape cartridges. Our prices for data recovery usually run from $150..00 to $550.00 depending on the type and quantity of tape cartridge.

 

CD/DVD's

Data Recovery from CD's and DVD's is a very challenging process. Often time the disks are too severely damaged to recover the data. We recover data from all brands for DVD's and CD's. Prices usually run from $50.00 to $150.00 depending on the type and quantity of CD or DVD. Because of our expertise on CD's and DVD's we were interviewed by KCAL 9 TV early in 2007.
